Doctor, University Professor and Hospital Practitioner at Montpellier 1 University
Jacques Touchon is a medical doctor, university professor and hospital practitioner at Montpellier 1 University (UFR de médecine) and Montpellier University Hospital.
A neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s disease, he has published numerous books (Neurophysiologie des mémoires, La maladie d’Alzheimer) and contributed to a number of specialized journals on the subject. Until June 2014, he was Director of the Behavioral and Degenerative Neurology Unit at Montpellier University Hospital.
