Professor Marc Henry is a French researcher and academic specializing in chemistry, quantum physics and materials science. He graduated as a chemical engineer in 1980, and went on to earn a doctorate in science in 1988, before obtaining his “habilitation à diriger des recherches” in 1993. He has been a professor at the University of Strasbourg since the same year, where he has also headed the Solid State Molecular Chemistry Laboratory.
Marc Henry is renowned for his in-depth research into water, a field that occupies a central place in his work. He explores the physical, chemical and biological properties of water, as well as its interaction with electromagnetic phenomena, integrating quantum physics into his analyses. A prolific author, he has published over 140 scientific articles, whose work is widely cited in the field. At the same time, he is engaged in philosophical and epistemological reflection, seeking to understand the emergence of consciousness through the prism of quantum physics.
Marc Henry is also the author of several books, including L’eau et la physique quantique (2016), and is a regular speaker at conferences, sharing his research with specialists and a wider audience, particularly on topics involving cell biology and the applications of quantum physics in health and the life sciences.
