Philosopher and sociologist

Frédéric Lenoir is a French philosopher and writer, born June 3, 1962 in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Holder of a doctorate from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, he has devoted his career to exploring the themes of happiness, well-being and spirituality, publishing nearly fifty works translated into some twenty languages. His books have met with great success, with over ten million copies sold worldwide.

During his career, Lenoir has also co-founded the SEVE Foundation, which promotes meditation and philosophy among young people, and the “Ensemble pour les Animaux” association, reflecting his commitment to social and environmental causes. His philosophical approach values the understanding of emotions and the quest for meaning, while integrating the teachings of thinkers such as Spinoza and Jung.

Frédéric Lenoir divides his life between Haute-Savoie, Corsica and Paris, while leading seminars and conferences around the world. His vision of a spirituality without dogma and his interest in the great existential questions continue to inspire many people in search of wisdom and meaning.
